Lorsque nous avons proposé notre collaboration à Marc Van Peteghem nous n’avions pas de connaissance particulière du Bangladesh mais nous désirions aborder le sujet sans misérabilisme, montrer la beauté et la fierté des Bengalis et de leur pays. Tenter de nous approcher, d’apporter notre regard empathique, de terriens à terriens. Nous avons été servis !

Notre ambition n’a pas été de décrire l’action de Watever, elle le fait très bien. Ni d’expliquer le besoin d’intervenir au Bangladesh, il nous semble évident.

Nous avons simplement ressenti la nécessité de montrer l’environnement dans lequel Watever travaille, notre but avoué étant de provoquer le désir de contribuer financièrement à son action en acquérant des tirages et/ou le film.

Le travail de Watever est humble, sérieux, responsable et nécessite beaucoup d’investissements humain et financier.
